All good things have to come to an end – like summer. This is our eleventh year mentoring interns! We had two amazing interns for the past few months who quickly became major contributors to various projects.
Travis Chen, a first year #computerengineering student at Johns Hopkins University School of Engineering, managed to contribute the first week, turning up a Bluetooth board developed by a customer. They had tried for a few weeks to program it and gave up. During his internship, Travis supported code development for three different products, programing a #LoRa wireless module, programing a custom heater controller, working with various protocols including CAN bus, serial interface, LTE, GNSS and UART. He also worked on multiple processor platforms. He will be missed! Good luck next semester Travis!

Ethan Martin is a rising senior at Rochester Institute of Technology studying Electrical Engineering Technology. He quickly started by developing a prototype LCD based device, developing a circuit card in #Altium while supporting multiple prototyping activities. He supported a new board development through circuit simulation and component optimization. Ethan developed a custom flex cable and developed wiring diagrams for prototype wiring harnesses. Ethan even ran the CNC to help the team with prototypes during crunch time. Like Travis, Ethan was a major contributor and will be missed. Good luck Ethan!
