Years ago, RPM Tech was looking for a local contact manufacturer for its customers Medtech devices. After working with the LaunchPort for three years, it became obvious that there were opportunities to collaborate much more closely with the LaunchPort, supporting local startups and entrepreneurs with the development, engineering and prototyping of novel medical devices and diagnostics instruments. To expand the collaboration, RPM Tech now resides in the LaunchPort and supports onboarding of devices into the ISO 13485 certified manufacturing facility. We also work with companies based in the LaunchPort Medtech accelerator and provide technical advice when needed to others. The LaunchPort’s centralized location is helpful and informal discussions in the accelerator with the residents has led to great discussions and solutions. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with the LaunchPort and its residents.

RPM Tech is pleased to announce the opening of a satellite office at the LaunchPort. The product development, engineering services and prototyping company is supporting onboarding of new medical devices in the manufacturing accelerator. The Harford County based company already works with some of the accelerator’s residents. The LaunchPort, a transformational contract manufacturer of life science products medical devices and Medtech accelerator, provides RPM Tech easy access to the great Baltimore ecosystem.
