TE Connectivity is a world class #interconnect and #sensor company, so when they exhibit their products at conferences, they need a world class display. We were fortunate to help make their vision a reality, designing, fabricating and assembling the latest innovations into this OCP rack.
It was shown for the first time at DesignCon. As long time users of their products, it was fun to incorporate all these components and modules.
The team designed pull out sleds combining laser cut, machined part, sheetmetal brackets combining connectors, modules, circuit cards and cables.
The lightbox was an interesting challenge – we had very little time to incorporate a last minute change. How could we quickly develop an attractive sign to enhance the rack while still fitting the overall look and branding of the rack assembly. The team came up with the “lightbox”, fabricated and assembled it fast enough to sneak into the rack moments before the rack was picked up for the show.
It was great to see the rack come together with the help of the whole team!
